What is FlixQuest?

FlixQuest is a free, open-source Flutter app for Android phones and Android TV. It uses TMDB for film and show details and a separate stream service for playback, with live TV and sports channels and background downloads. Note that a different app on Google Play is also called "FlixQuest"; it's not the same project.

Where Parky is different

On features, FlixQuest and Parky overlap more than most: both play without setup, both have live TV and sports, both download. The differences are about devices and fuss.

Parky has a Windows 10/11 app. Your phone, TV and PC pair with a code, with no account, so your watchlist and history follow you. On Fire TV you type one Downloader code and you're done, and the app updates itself after that. Downloads save as plain MP4 files you can open in any player.
