What is Stremio?
Stremio is a free media center for movies, series and other video. It doesn't host or find anything by itself. Its catalogue, its streams and its subtitles all come from add-ons: small services you install by URL. The best-known stream add-ons are third-party projects, and many are set up to run through a paid debrid service such as Real-Debrid.
It does the media-center part well. The library syncs across devices, there are official apps for most platforms, including Mac, Linux and smart TVs, and the add-on ecosystem is huge.
